Quick Start Guide for PC Version of "Bi-Fi 2 - Action in Hollywood"
-------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Hardware Requirements

To play "Action in Hollywood", you need at least a PC/AT with
80286 processor, MS-DOS 3.00 or higher, a VGA or MCGA graphics
card, approximately 560 kilobytes of free memory and about 1.5
megabytes of space on your hard drive.

If you don't have a mouse, you can easily control the game using
the keyboard. For music output, you need at least an AdLib card.
"Action in Hollywood" runs optimally on an 80386 computer with
33MHz or higher and a Soundblaster.

If you have an older computer that cannot provide quite as much
main memory, you should forgo Soundblaster (AdLib music alone
requires approximately 480 kilobytes) or skip music altogether
(without a sound card, about 460 kilobytes are required).

2. Installation on Hard Drive

To install, first switch to the drive containing the original
"Action in Hollywood" disk. You do this by inserting the original
disk into drive A:, for example, and then typing "A: <ENTER>".
After that, simply enter "INSTALL <ENTER>" and follow all the
   instructions from the installation program.

3. Starting

Switch to the drive and directory where you installed "Action in
   Hollywood" and type

   "BIFI <ENTER>"

If you are starting "Action in Hollywood" for the first time, you
will automatically enter a menu where you must tell the game
about your sound card. If you want to change the sound card sett-
   ings later, type

   "BIFI SOUND <ENTER>"

The installation menu for the sound card has a help function that
you can activate by pressing "H".

TIP: If the game doesn't run fast enough on your computer, then
forgo the Soundblaster sound and select "AdLib" or "No sound
   card" instead.

4. Control with Keyboard and Mouse

Although we recommend a mouse for control, the game can also be
   operated with the PC keyboard:

Arrow keys (cursor) Move mouse pointer
Enter key or Space bar Press mouse button

5. Options During the Game

If you press <ESCAPE> during the game, a menu appears where you
can, among other things, save the current game status, load a
saved game, or exit the game.

6. In-Game Control

You guide Lukas through different rooms with the mouse pointer.
By clicking on objects and/or commands - such as OPEN, LOOK, etc.
   - you trigger different actions from the player character. You
can use things, talk to other people, and explore everything
carefully. Listen carefully to what people tell you or what you
can pick up in conversations - important information is usually
   hidden behind it!
